Songwriting

In my free time, one of my hobbies is writing lyrics, sometimes accompanied by composing and arranging full songs. With a background in music, writing lyrics is one of my favourite ways to turn emotions into readible or audible snippets of art.

it started in the blaze of summer
radiant even under the shade
ray of sun through my viewfinder
marking the begin of forever and repeat

wading through the crystal waters
taste the salty spray of ocean breeze
golden beach out in the distance
capturing every moment with a click


stumbling down the path
hands tightly grasped
as the sun goes down the horizon


as the seasons rush me by 
i've slowly begun to find
memories look different on film
captured essence of the sun
bubbly laughter of fun
livening my room, shots of colour
looking back on memories from my point of view

sitting on an empty park bench in autumn
under the gentle cover of rustling trees
fingering through pages of poetry
capture this tranquility in a shot

as the golden leaves give way to winter
cautious patters of snow against my frozen window
yearning for just a see
this sadness stays contained in me


locked up in my room
whispered wishes for the moon
to take me back to you


as the seasons fly right by
i've begun to forget why
pieces of paper can't hold forever
pictures hanging on the wall
reminiscent of when we had it all
forgotten on a shelf, dusty camera
treasured moments i only once knew

how slow does time go by
'til i can see you with my own eyes
head on my fist
gazing at the snowy scene
as i wait for spring to come home

#DidYouKnow of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Act, one of the new laws enacted in Singapore?

On 8 December 2023, the EV Charging Act (EVCA) came into force. The Act aims to regulate the installation of EV chargers in Singapore, and ensure that they can be operated safely. This is in tandem with the TR25 Standard that also governs EV chargers in Singapore to ensure safe and reliable operation. Key objectives of the Act include:

1. Regulating the supply of EV chargers
2. Registration of EV chargers
3. Licensing of EV Charging Operators
4. Mandating EV charging provisions at developments

​

This Act is a significant stride in the country’s progress in transitioning to electric mobility, addressing a crucial aspect - vehicle charging. As we progress towards the goal of 100% cleaner energy vehicles by 2040, improving charging infrastructure helps to enable vehicle owners and operators to seamlessly get around.
